Ms. ElKarou is a project coordinator with the firm and assists the attorneys in every stage of an affordable housing project’s lifespan.  Ms. ElKarou drafts and reviews real estate closing and loan documents, prepares entity formation documents, reviews title and survey and works with title officers, surveyors and other related parties and prepares documents for real estate closings, including escrow instructions, assignments, substitution agreements and others.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. ElKarou spent several years as paralegal in the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office.
